Want to host a Product Hunt meetup in your city? Weโll help!
Meetups have been a part of Product Hunt since the beginning. Connecting with people online is great but thereโs no replacement to meeting your future BFF, finding your next co-founder, or simply having an interesting conversation IRL. Product Hunt meetups are a fun way to hang out with other smart, enthusiastic people that love tech.
Since we hosted our first meetup in San Francisco in 2014, the community has taken charge in hosting gatherings around the world. Weโve seen over 300 (๐) hosted across the globe including New York, Austin, Tel Aviv, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Toronto, and Amsterdam.
Thanks to everyone thatโs hosted. Weโre pumped to support these further, with an audacious goal: Reach 500 meetups by the end of 2017.
But we need your help. ๐
If youโre interested in organizing a community happy hour, brunch, or hackathon, weโd love to help! Start by filling out this short form and weโll follow up with:
Weโve seen a variety of creative ideas from loyal hosts over the past few years.
Daryna and the team out of Toronto have been going strong, attracting hundreds of attendees at their events. Their 12th meetup is today.
Our friends in Copenhagen live streamed the event to 3.5K viewers (thanks, Ekaterina Klink!).
The team at Big Door are regular hosts in Salt Lake City, Utah, often doing a takeover on the official ProductHuntTeam Snapchat at the event (and you can too). They even brought special donuts. ๐
Bram Kanstein partnered with TNW to bring the community together in Amsterdam, captured in this wonderful video.
If youโre ready, or just curious about organizing your own Product Hunt meetup, go here.
Jacq from the Product Hunt team will follow up to guide you through the process of throwing the most meowvelous event pawsible! ๐ ๐ป ๐ป ๐บ ๐
