Elea Technology proudly announces the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Quakenbrück with a three-day celebration from June 18 to June 21, 2025. This event series highlights Elea’s global leadership in Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) technology and welcomes partners, professionals, and the public to experience the future of food innovation.

The celebration begins on Wednesday, June 18, with Inauguration Day from 4 PM to 9 PM. Guests will be welcomed with a formal opening ceremony, guided tours of the new facility, and live demonstrations of Elea’s latest technological advancements. The evening will include networking and refreshments, with an optional dinner for registered guests. Confirmed speakers include Michael Buergel, Mayor of the Joint Municipality of Artland; Peter Vahrenkamp, Managing Director of WIGOS and representative of District Administrator Anna Kebschull; and Professor Dietrich Knorr, Berlin University of Technology.

Discover PEF Day on Thursday, June 19, from 9 AM to 3 PM, is tailored to industry professionals. With a focus on drying and snack applications, the program includes expert-led user experience sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and networking over lunch. Key speakers include Alica Lammerskitten (Frudist) and Madita Kirchner (Elea Technology GmbH).
Showcasing the power of Elea’s Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) technology: A side-by-side comparison of untreated vs. PEF-treated strawberries, presented by Alica Lammerskitten, highlighting the natural preservation of texture and color.
The event series concludes with Open Day on Saturday, June 21, from 3 PM to 6 PM. This relaxed, family-friendly afternoon invites the public to explore Elea’s new home. Visitors can enjoy interactive exhibits, guided building tours, and family activities—no registration required.
